Senior Estimator / Project Manager
Company founder, Helmuth Musil has been part of the mechanical industry in British Columbia since 1973. Helmuth leads by example and has unmatched experience in high rise residential plumbing and mechanical contracting. Innovations in installation practices and training of employees to implement new systems are his hallmarks. A lifetime member of MCABC, (Mechanical Contractors Association) Helmuth provides estimating, budgeting and project management services for the National Hydronics team.
Starting as a tradesman at National Hydronics in 1982, Rick has more than 30 years of experience in the installation, project management and estimating of mechanical systems. A partner in National Hydronics group, Rick coordinates, estimates and executes mechanical contacts for all types of projects with expertise in institutional construction and replacement work together with commercial and residential high rise. As an industry leader, Rick is a co-chair of the journeyman training group, and is a trustee of the health and welfare board. Recently acknowledged for his 30 years of service in the industry, Rick continues to implement innovative and cost effective plumbing solutions for new projects.
A partner in National Hydronics group, Mike is a project manager and estimator. A part of the National team since 1990, Mike started in the mechanical industry after graduating from BCIT Mechanical Systems in 1986 in HVAC equipment sales. As a project manager and estimator, his experience includes, commercial, institutional, and high rise residential projects.
Warranty and Service Manager
Starting as a tradesman at National Hydronics in 1988, Ron has 25 years of field experience, knowledge and expertise with installations, service and maintenance of mechanical systems. As a partner in National Hydronics group, Ron is the manager for the special projects, service and maintenance group within the company. Having successfully run projects with mechanical costs of under $1,000 to over $20 million dollars (mechanical cost) Ron has experience in providing service in all areas of plumbing, and mechanical installations in addition to repipe, services, maintenance and or equipment replacement.
Fire Protection Services
Victor brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the fire protection systems team at National Hydronics Group, with his extensive experience in all fire protection installations. He takes care of estimating services for new and retrofit installations.
Amir, began working with National after Graduated from UBC’s mechanical engineering program, which he completed after having earned his diploma of technology from BCIT in mechanical systems. With experience in both consulting and manufacturing, Amir brings his strength in mechanical engineering, design and planning to National’s team as an estimator and project coordinator.
Group Assistant / AR
Tricia started in 2014 and very quickly became a key member of the National Hydronics Group team. As a Business Management Graduate, Tricia assists our estimators, processes account receivables for the service department, and some quotes. Tricia proficiency has been important to creating an effective processing environment.
Project Manager / Sprinkler Designer
Scott joined National Hydronics Group in 2012, he leads National’s inhouse sprinkler design team, estimating, and project management services. Scott brings enthusiasm to every project and a strong desire to provide innovative fire protection solutions
Dianna is a recent addition to the National Hydronics team and is in charge of managing National Hydronics Health and Safety. Dianna maintains all our company work sites compliant with government regulations and WCB standards by constantly providing key training sessions, updating manuals and safety programs to our work force. Dianna recognizes the risks in construction and ensures the well being of all employees of National Hydronics.
Corporate Safety Officer
With 5 years on high-rise sites as a Construction Safety Officer, Sheilagh brings hands-on experience to her role managing Health and Safety at National Hydronics Group. Sheilagh strives to make compliance second nature for the on-site workers, so that they may go home to their families and friends safe and healthy at the end of every day.
