Mike Vesterback
Project Manager
A partner in National Hydronics group, Mike is a project manager and estimator. A part of the National team since 1990, Mike started in the mechanical industry after graduating from BCIT Mechanical Systems in 1986 in HVAC equipment sales. As a project manager and estimator, his experience includes, commercial, institutional, and high rise residential projects.

Starting as a tradesman at National Hydronics in 1988, Ron has 25 years of field experience, knowledge and expertise with installations, service and maintenance of mechanical systems. As a partner in National Hydronics group, Ron is the manager for the special projects, service and maintenance group within the company. Having successfully run projects with mechanical costs of under $1,000 to over $20 million dollars (mechanical cost) Ron has experience in providing service in all areas of plumbing, and mechanical installations in addition to repipe, services, maintenance and or equipment replacement.

Amir, began working with National after Graduated from UBC’s mechanical engineering program, which he completed after having earned his diploma of technology from BCIT in mechanical systems. With experience in both consulting and manufacturing, Amir brings his strength in mechanical engineering, design and planning to National’s team as an estimator and project coordinator.
Khyati Shah
Accounts Payable Specialist
Khyati is a part of our Accounting team and working as an Accounts Payable Specialist in National Hydronics Group. As a Graduate of Business Administration with focus in Accounting she processes Payables for our Plumbing, Sprinklers and Service Department. Khyati also assists in processing Payroll and other Accounting & Administration related functions.
Rachel Macpherson
Manager, Corporate Safety and Human Resources

Rachel is the Manager of Corporate Safety and Human Resources at National Hydronics group, with experience in training and managing safety programs for 4 years in both construction and office environments. With accomplishments such as the completion of 3 internal COR audits and 1 re-certifying COR audit, in house fit tester and fall protection PPE certifications, Rachel is working on obtaining her NCSO. To further her education, she is enrolled in UNB’s program “Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety” for 2023 completion. She has taken on the HR role along with safety with great success, balancing the safety program with hiring, onboarding, and general employee relations. Rachel has a strong commitment and understanding of safety legislation and labour standards, which is shown in her dedication to providing an elevated work environment for everyone here at National Hydronics.
