Mike Vesterback
President, Project Manager

Mike joined National Hydronics in 1990 as an estimator, became a partner in 2003 and Company President in 2008. A 1986 Graduate of BCIT’s Mechanical Systems Technology program, his early career included work as an HVAC Manufacturing Agent and insulation estimator before he joined the team at National. As an estimator and project manager, Mike has earned a wealth of knowledge and understanding of mechanical systems for commercial, institutional, and residential multi-family and mixed projects.

Ron Jassman
Warranty and Service Manager

Starting as a tradesman at National Hydronics in 1988, Ron has 25 years of field experience, knowledge and expertise with installations, service and maintenance of mechanical systems. As a partner in National Hydronics group, Ron is the manager for the special projects, service and maintenance group within the company. Having successfully run projects with mechanical costs of under $1,000 to over $20 million dollars (mechanical cost) Ron has experience in providing service in all areas of plumbing, and mechanical installations in addition to repipe, services, maintenance and or equipment replacement.

Amir Fayazmanesh
B. Eng: Project Manager

Amir joined National following his graduation from UBC’s mechanical engineering program, which he pursued after obtaining a diploma of technology in mechanical systems from BCIT. With a background in both consulting and manufacturing, Amir leverages his expertise in mechanical engineering, design, and project planning to support National as a Senior Project Manager.

Joyti Saran
CPA: Financial Controller

Joyti is the Financial Controller at National Hydronics and has been a key part of the company for the past five years. She graduated from BCIT with a Bachelor's in Accounting and holds a CPA designation, reflecting her advanced knowledge in financial management, reporting, and business strategy. As head of the accounting team, Joyti oversees daily operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides accurate financial reporting and forecasting. She also works closely with other departments to streamline processes and align financial strategies with company goals. Joyti’s leadership, expertise, and commitment to excellence play a vital role in supporting the ongoing growth and success of National Hydronics.

Khyati Shah
Intermediate Accountant

Khyati serves as an Accounts Payable Specialist within the Accounting team at National Hydronics Group. With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, she is responsible for managing payables across the Plumbing, Sprinklers, and Service Departments. Additionally, Khyati supports payroll processing and contributes to various other accounting and administrative tasks.

Rachel Macpherson
Manager, Corporate Safety and Human Resources

Rachel serves as the Manager of Corporate Safety and Human Resources at National Hydronics Group. With four years of experience overseeing safety programs across both construction and office environments, she has successfully conducted three internal COR audits and a re-certifying COR audit. Rachel is certified in fit testing and fall protection PPE, and is actively pursuing her NCSO designation. She is also undertaking the Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety program at UNB. Her thorough understanding of safety legislation and labour standards strengthens her commitment to maintaining a safe working environment at National Hydronics Group.

Tyler Musil
Project Manager

After receiving his degree in mechanical engineering from BCIT, Tyler began his career in HVAC Equipment sales before joining National Hydronics in 2021. Earning the experience from his past employment, his knowledge and understanding of primary systems is exceptional. Tyler has been part of mechanical contracting beyond his employment at National, where his grandfather was our founder, and his father was a partner. Before starting his education at BCIT Tyler briefly was an apprentice plumber with the company adding some hands on experience to his knowledge base.

Dylan Liu
Mechanical Coordinator/Estimator

Holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering from U-Saskatchewan, Dylan joined National in 2023 and has honed his skills as a mechanical estimator, while supporting the project management team in all related scopes, pricing change orders, subtrade engagement. He provides precise and transparent cost evaluations that empower clients to make informed decisions and maintain budget control. Leveraging his Mechanical Engineering background, Dylan brings a technical advantage to his estimating process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and practical solutions.
